Selecting the Shanghai SMEs Overseas Service Center (UK)
The Sino-UK Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”) is a non-profit organization established in London, UK. The Center has offices and teams in both London and Shanghai, assisting Chinese businesses in expanding into the UK market. It operates in a two-way approach, facilitating “going out” and “bringing in” strategies to foster industrial cooperation in the field of innovation between the two countries. The services provided include company establishment, overseas promotion, business matchmaking, industry training, exhibition events, and more, with a focus on integrating interactions between production, academia, and research.
Since 2015, the Sino-UK Innovation Center has collaborated with various organizations, including the UK Department for International Trade, the British Fashion Council, the UK Design Council, the Royal Institute of British Architects, TechUK, the London Development Agency, Nottingham City Council, D&AD, London Design Festival, Edinburgh Festival, and others. These collaborations have involved a wide range of activities, such as exhibitions, business matchmaking, short-term workshops, and industry training.
-In 2017, it became a part of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s Global Network of Technology and Innovation.
-In 2019, it was recognized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization as the Shanghai SMEs Overseas Service Center (UK).
