Participants of the conference included many SMEs from China and Italy, including 8 SME delegations from Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region, and 20 Italian companies, to discuss the potential and opportunities for cooperation in various fields.

For example, the dialogue between Delta Interior and Shanghai Creative City Technology Development Co. Ltd. was particularly pragmatic, with both parties exploring concrete steps and strategies for the introduction of aerospace design and related industry chains into China, which will not only facilitate the sharing of technology and resources, but also promote localisation and innovation in related industries. Yiga Investment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held cooperation talks with ICCF Academy and MMcArthurGlen. The two parties discussed possibilities for cooperation in educational programmes, academic research and talent development, including joint courses and seminars aimed at nurturing future leaders with an international outlook and industry expertise.

These dialogues and discussions not only reflect the determination of Chinese and Italian entrepreneurs to pursue common development and innovation, but also pave the way for cooperation between the two sides in the international market. The success of the exchange marks a new stage of development of economic cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries, injecting new impetus to the deepening of enterprises’ internationalisation strategy and the enhancement of industrial chain cooperation. In the future, the organisers will continue their efforts to support the development of Shanghai’s ‘specialised, specialised and new’ enterprises in the global market through the establishment of similar international platforms, and to promote the high-quality and sustainable development of the industries in China and Italy.
